Elizabeth A. Davis: Elizabeth A. Davis is a Tony Award & Drama Desk Award nominated actor for her turns in Broadway’s Tony-Winning ONCE, where she originated the role of Reza and the revival of Roger & Hammerstein’s ALLEGRO.

Most recently, she played Thomas Jefferson in the all new Broadway revival of 1776. She was featured as the title role in the world premiere of BUZZ about the first female director of the Royal Shakespeare Company, was in the Tony Award nominated co-production of INDECENT at CTG LA & The Huntington, as well as featured on Ben Platt’s Sing To Me Instead’s “OLDER.” She will be seen in the upcoming record-breaking episode of LAW & ORDER SVU.

Other stage credits include Off-Broadway’s MY NAME’S NOT INDIAN JOE (Actor, Writer, Producer), THE RESISTIBLE RISE OF ARTURO UI with John Doyle, CAUCASIAN CHALK CIRCLE, KING LEAR, DUST CAN’T KILL ME in which she received the New York Musical Festival’s Best Featured Actress Award, ZORBA! with Zoe Wanamaker, FOUR LAST THINGS, and 39 STEPS.

Elizabeth workshopped & and premiered RAIN at New York Stage and Film and The Old Globe, as well as Moliere’s THE MISANTHROPE & Shaw’s THE DEVIL’S DISCIPLE at STNJ. She originated the role of Reza in ONCE at ART Boston & played Stella in A STREETCAR NAMED DESIRE at CPH & co-directed Lee Blessing’s INDEPENDENCE.

Elizabeth’s Television & Film credits include an additional turn on LAW & ORDER SVU, TRAUMA IS A TIME MACHINE, BLUE BLOODS, THE JIM GAFFIGAN SHOW, TAXI BROOKLYN, FRINGE, & THE WISDOM TOOTH.

Her musical, MY NAME’S NOT INDIAN JOE, directed by Emmy Winner, Don Scardino, was workshopped and / or produced at The Goodspeed Opera House Norma Terriss, The Cherry Lane Mentor Project, New York Stage & Film, Rhinebeck Writer’s Retreat & on 46th St’s Davenport Theatre.

Her play, CHILD(LESS), is in development, as is her short play, HOME: ENTROPIC. Elizabeth’s photo essay project REVEAL can be seen on Instagram @RevealUnseen. She holds her BFA & MFA in classic theatre performance and is the CASE / Cleveland Playhouse Young Alumni Award Recipient.
